Find or add your gym
Enter your gym name. If it is already in the GFV directory, select the existing profile. If it is not listed, submit the details of your gym.
Verify your right to manage the profile
GFV checks your connection to the gym and may request supporting documents. Once approved, you can manage the profile.
Complete your gym profile
Upload photos, describe your equipment and services, and add opening hours and contact details. Keep your information up to date.
Already on the map? Claim your existing gym profile to avoid creating a duplicate listing.

What does your gym status mean?
GFV clearly distinguishes between a public listing, an owner-verified profile and a certified gym.
Public listing
On the map: a grey dot.
Created from publicly available information. Not yet confirmed by the owner. Details may be incomplete.
No GFV certification.
Owner-verified
On the map: a silver dot with a gold ring.
The owner or authorised representative has been approved to manage this profile. The gym team can update its information.
This is not certification.

On the map: a Colossus icon.
Assessed against the GFV standard and found to meet its high certification requirements.

Manage all your gym profiles from one owner account. Each gym has its own address, information and status. The right to manage each profile is verified separately; certification of one gym does not cover other locations.

Start a separate certification application to receive a detailed questionnaire covering all 15 criteria.
Show how your gym really operates
Answer the questions relevant to your gym. Add photos, videos and other evidence to support the information you provide.
GFV reviews and assesses
We may request clarification or carry out a remote or on-site assessment. GFV may also check actual conditions without prior notice.
A decision is made
Gyms that meet GFV’s high requirements receive “GFV Colossus Certified” status. Submitting an application or making a payment does not guarantee approval.
Gym Factory equipment is not required. The equipment brand does not determine the outcome.

Registration and profiles
Does registering my gym give it GFV certification?
No. Registration and approval to manage the profile let you update your gym’s information. Certification is awarded only after a separate GFV assessment and approval.
What if my gym is already on the GFV map?
Select the existing gym during registration and request access to manage its profile. If your gym is not listed, submit its details through the same registration process.
Who can register a gym and manage its profile?
The gym owner or an authorised representative. GFV may request documents confirming your authority to represent the gym.
Does my gym need Gym Factory equipment?
No. GFV assesses equipment quality, condition, safety and suitability for training. The equipment brand does not determine the certification decision.
How do people contact my gym?
Directly, using the contact details and links in your gym profile. Membership, prices, bookings and visiting arrangements are handled by the gym itself.

Certification and the Colossus
Is certification based only on the size of a gym?
No. GFV assesses actual operating quality across 15 areas, taking the gym type and its services into account. A large floor area or modern interior alone does not guarantee certification.
Do I need to answer every question in the questionnaire?
Answer the questions relevant to your gym. If you do not offer a particular activity, mark it “Not applicable” or leave it blank. GFV will request any further details needed for a decision.
What happens if my gym is not approved for certification?
Certified gym status is not awarded. Submitting an application does not mean a gym is certified. Contact the GFV team for an explanation of the decision or to request reassessment.
What does my gym keep if its certification expires?
The Colossus and certificate trophy remain the gym’s property. Without valid certification, they no longer indicate GFV certified status, which is removed from the GFV website and map.
Can I simply buy a Colossus without certification?
No. In this programme, eligibility to acquire a Colossus depends on meeting the GFV standard. Willingness to pay for the package alone does not qualify a gym for certification or a Colossus.
