For Gyms

Find Your Gym. Claim Your Profile. Start the GFV Path.

Your gym may already appear on GFV through publicly available information. If it does, you can claim your profile to confirm ownership, correct key details and make sure athletes see accurate information about your facility before the platform opens. Claiming a profile is the first administrative step. It does not require payment and it does not mean the gym is GFV Certified.

GFV certification is a separate process for gyms that are ready to be assessed against a higher professional standard. Approved gyms receive the full GFV recognition package: certified platform status, the GFV mark and the Colossus sculpture — the physical symbol of that status.

Claiming gives control. Certification proves the standard. Colossus makes it visible.

Find, Claim or Add Your Gym

Search the directory. If your gym is listed, claim it in a couple of clicks — you'll set up a free account as part of claiming. Not listed yet? You can add it as a new gym.

Can't find it? It may not be listed yet — add your gym, or contact us.

Step 1 — Claim Your Profile

Claim your gym profile to confirm ownership and take control of the information shown on GFV. Update key details before the platform opens, so athletes see accurate information about your facility from day one. Claiming and managing your profile is free.

Control Your Profile

Update your gym description, photos, opening hours, contact details and other key information before GFV opens.

Claimed Profile

Once ownership is confirmed, your profile is marked as a Claimed Profile, so visitors know the listing is managed by the facility.

Stay Reachable

Keep your phone, email, website and social links accurate so athletes can contact you directly.

No Payment Required

Claiming your profile and managing its basic public information is free.

Step 2 — Manage Multiple Locations

If you operate more than one gym under the same brand or company, you can manage multiple locations from one owner account. Each gym keeps its own profile, public information and GFV status. This matters because every facility must stand on its own standard.

  1. 1 Confirm ownership once — confirm ownership for your first gym with official business documents.
  2. 2 Add locations under the same business — after ownership is confirmed, you can request additional gyms under the same company without repeating the full ownership process each time. Every added location is still reviewed before it is linked to your account.
  3. 3 Manage each gym separately — each location keeps its own profile, details, contact information and public presentation.
  4. 4 Each location stands alone — you can apply for GFV assessment location by location. One approved gym does not automatically approve the rest of the chain.

Step 3 — Apply for GFV Certification

Certification is how serious gyms differentiate from the noise. GFV certification is not a participation badge. It is a formal recognition that a gym has been assessed against the GFV standard and approved. This is where a listing becomes more than visibility — it becomes proof that the gym has been measured.

What auditors look for

GFV does not certify a profile. GFV certifies the real gym behind it.

Auditors assess the actual training environment: equipment, hygiene, safety, maintenance, layout, operations, staff professionalism and overall training experience. The main categories and total available points are public, so gym owners can see what is being measured and where they can improve. Some requirements are mandatory. If they are not met, certification cannot be granted.

The detailed scoring method remains internal to protect the integrity of the audit.

Mandatory requirements — all must be met

Mandatory requirements are the entry conditions for GFV Colossus Certified status. They are not bonus points. If a gym does not meet the mandatory requirements for its category, certification cannot be granted. They cover:

  • Training space & equipment
  • Member facilities & hygiene
  • Staff, coaching & operations
  • Safety & maintenance
  • Public information

See the full GFV Standard — every requirement and the scored categories

Meeting the mandatory requirements allows the gym to move into the scored GFV assessment.

Scored assessment — what sets a gym apart

Once the mandatory requirements are met, the gym moves into the scored GFV assessment. This is where GFV evaluates how far the facility goes beyond the basic standard. Scored areas may include equipment depth, training layout, maintenance consistency, hygiene quality, safety readiness, staff professionalism, coaching strength, member experience, atmosphere, community reputation and additional facility features.

Extra features can improve the result, but they do not replace weak fundamentals. A higher score is earned by gyms that deliver quality consistently in the real training environment — not only by adding more services.

Certification Process

  1. 1

    Register

Create your gym owner account and add your basic business details.

  2. 2

    Verify ownership

Upload proof that you own or manage the facility. This may include business registration documents, a lease agreement or other accepted proof of operation. Ownership verification is typically reviewed within 1–3 business days.

  3. 3

    Apply for GFV assessment

Once your profile is claimed and your information is complete, you can apply for GFV Colossus Certified assessment.

  4. 4

    On-site assessment

A trained GFV auditor assesses the facility against the GFV framework, including mandatory requirements and scored categories. On-site assessments may take place during active training hours, so the result reflects the real gym environment.

  5. 5

    Report & decision

After the assessment, the gym receives a structured report with category results and the final decision. If the facility meets the required standard, GFV issues the certification agreement.

  6. 6

    GFV Colossus Certified

After approval and agreement confirmation, the gym receives GFV Colossus Certified status, the GFV mark and the Colossus recognition package. The certification is valid for 12 months and must be renewed to remain active.

Public Listing No payment required

A gym may appear on GFV through publicly available information. A public listing does not mean the gym is claimed or certified.

Gym owners can claim and manage their basic public profile information before GFV opens.

GFV Colossus Certification Application-based pricing

GFV Colossus Certification is a paid assessment and recognition process for gyms that want to be evaluated for GFV Colossus Certified status. Pricing depends on the gym category, facility size, location, assessment format and final recognition package. Certification cannot be purchased directly — a gym must complete the GFV assessment process and meet the required standard.

Approved gyms receive the full GFV recognition package: certified platform status, the GFV mark and the Colossus sculpture with the gym name and unique serial number.

Colossus is not sold separately to uncertified gyms. Full pricing details are provided during the application process.

FAQ for Gyms

My gym is already on the platform — how do I claim it?
Search for your gym in the directory, click "This is my gym", submit proof of ownership (business registration, utility bill or lease agreement). We review within 1–3 business days.
Do I need to be a certain size to apply for certification?
No. We certify gyms of all sizes — from a 60m² boutique studio to a 2000m² flagship. The scoring rubric is weighted appropriately.
Can I have multiple locations?
Yes. Verify ownership once with your first gym, then request additional locations from your dashboard without re-uploading ownership documents — each one is still quickly confirmed by our team before it is linked to you. Every location has its own profile and can be certified independently.
What happens if a location fails the audit?
You receive a detailed report with exact scores and the gap to passing. You can reapply once the issues are addressed — typically a 60-day waiting period so improvements can take effect.
Can I dispute an audit result?
Yes. If you believe the audit was inaccurate, you can request a review by contacting our team. We examine the request and decide whether a follow-up audit is warranted; the exact terms are covered in the certification contract you sign before the audit.
Is there a monthly platform fee?
No. There are no recurring platform fees in the current version. You only pay for the certification audit itself, if you choose to apply.
Is the Colossus sculpture part of GFV certification?
Yes. When a gym earns GFV Colossus Certified status it receives the full recognition package — certified platform status, the GFV mark, and the polygonal steel Colossus sculpture, engraved with the gym name and a unique serial number. The Colossus is the physical symbol of that status, not a separate purchase.
Can any gym get the Colossus sculpture?
No. The Colossus comes only with GFV Colossus Certified status — it is not sold separately to uncertified gyms. The sculpture would lose its meaning if any facility could simply buy one. A gym must complete the GFV assessment and meet the required standard first.
What happens to the Colossus sculpture if I lose certification?
The sculpture stays with your gym, but your right to display it as a current GFV mark ends when certification lapses. Re-certify within the grace window and the mark is active again. Gyms that let certification expire and keep presenting the Colossus as if still certified will be actioned under the certification contract.
Do members have to contact me through the platform?
No. Your listing shows your normal contact details — phone, email, website — so members reach you however they prefer. We also offer an optional in-platform message button on claimed profiles for anyone who wants to ask a quick question without leaving the page; those messages land in your dashboard.
Will GFV ever charge a fee on member sign-ups or memberships?
No. GFV is a directory and certification platform — not a membership broker. We do not process member sign-ups, memberships, or bookings, and we never take a cut. The only money flowing through GFV is the optional certification audit fee for gyms that choose to apply.
