1. Cookies and Local Storage We Use

GFV uses only storage that is necessary to operate the service: a session cookie for sign-in and form state, a CSRF cookie that protects form submissions, an optional “remember me” cookie when you choose that setting, and an app-mode preference when the website is opened inside the GFV mobile app.

Only if you accept analytics cookies: Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_… cookies, kept for up to 13 months, to count visits and see which pages are used. Your choice itself is kept in your browser’s local storage (gfv-consent-v1) and is not sent to GFV with requests. Inside the GFV mobile app no analytics are used.

The pre-launch page stores your cookie-notice acknowledgement in your browser’s local storage. That preference is not sent to GFV with each request.

2. Why These Are Necessary

These items keep accounts signed in, protect the service against forged requests, preserve the correct mobile presentation, and remember that you have read the notice. Disabling them may prevent account, form, or app-wrapper features from working.

3. What We Do Not Use

We do not use advertising, cross-site tracking, or behavioural-profiling cookies, and we use analytics cookies only with your consent. We do not sell cookie data.

4. Your Controls

You can accept or reject analytics cookies in the banner shown on your first visit and change your choice at any time; rejecting later also removes the analytics cookies from your browser.

You can remove stored data through your browser settings. Signing out ends the active authenticated session; you can also revoke other signed-in browser sessions from your account security page.
