1. Cookies and Local Storage We Use

GFV uses only storage that is necessary to operate the service: a session cookie for sign-in and form state, a CSRF cookie that protects form submissions, an optional “remember me” cookie when you choose that setting, and an app-mode preference when the website is opened inside the GFV mobile app.

The pre-launch page stores your cookie-notice acknowledgement in your browser’s local storage. That preference is not sent to GFV with each request.

2. Why These Are Necessary

These items keep accounts signed in, protect the service against forged requests, preserve the correct mobile presentation, and remember that you have read the notice. Disabling them may prevent account, form, or app-wrapper features from working.

3. What We Do Not Use

We do not use analytics, advertising, cross-site tracking, or behavioural-profiling cookies. We do not sell cookie data.

4. Your Controls

You can remove stored data through your browser settings. Signing out ends the active authenticated session; you can also revoke other signed-in browser sessions from your account security page.
